The National Association of Chronic Disease Directors (NACDD) and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) worked with my client, Kognito, to produce engaging, interactive coaching conversations for both healthcare providers and cancer survivors. The simulations for healthcare providers use virtual “patients” and a virtual coach to help them communicate with their patients about post cancer-treatment issues, such as engaging in healthy lifestyle behaviors and addressing psychosocial distress.
NACDD created a trailer about the provider simulations, and I was enlisted to write the video script. This video lives on the Conversations About Cancer landing page, and is distributed to healthcare providers to help promote the free trainings.
